The Website and its content, mainly but not limited to its information and animations, do not substitute and are not intended to substitute sound medical advice. For any health related issues the advice of a registered medical practitioner should be sought. The University does not make any warranty about the validity of the content, despite its best efforts to keep the content up to date and as accurate as possible.
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the competent courts of Thessaloniki, Greece, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

The promoter of the FAST Heroes Bedtime Storybook Competition is the Department of Education and Social Policy, University of Macedonia, 156 Egnatia Str., P.C.54636, Thessaloniki, Greece [The Promoter] and has been made possible by the support from the Angels Initiative. The Angels Initiative is a Healthcare improvement project aimed at improving stroke care across the world. This is achieved by helping set up new Stroke Ready Hospitals and improving the quality of care in existing Stroke hospitals. The eventual goal is that all stroke patients have access to the same level of care irrespective of where they are in the world. The Angels Initiative is an initiative by Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH and is endorsed by the World Stroke Organization (WSO), The European Stroke Organization (ESO) and has as partners supporting the initiative the Stroke Alliance For Europe (SAFE) and Medtronic. The competition is open to residents of Greece, Portugal, Spain, Hungary and Poland aged 18 years or over except employees of the promoters and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
The closing date for entry will be 30 June 2020. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: A Facebook and Instagram post will be promoted to advertise the competition. To enter, simply tell us in the comments of the post, what your little one’s favourite bedtime story is and who they love to have read it to them.
Competition winners will be announced on the 20th of July, so keep your eyes on our page!
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as follows: A printed copy of the FAST Heroes Bedtime Storybook.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen by an independent adjudicator appointed by the Promoter.
The winners will be notified by DM on Facebook within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current EU data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
